Never heard of manufacturing process that didn’t encounter error or mistakes. It’s part of ongoing improvement. No one will improve without an error. Error creates an opportunity to excel from the current condition. Take that mistakes & move forward with the mindset to change for good from that occurrence & not allowing it to happen again. It’s the same in the personal situation. Don’t stop improving because there’s always a room for it. Remember, everyone makes mistakes, but everyone reacts differently- it either will make you or break you.

In my experience, failures in a manufacturing environment provide you with the greatest opportunity for continuous improvement. By having a diverse team from the manufacturing group, a manufacturing leader is able to empower team members to take ownership, brainstorm changes and optimize the overall process. If done properly, this can be the start of a powerful movement with the manufacturing organization to enhance quality, reduce costs and influence upstream functions such as engineering and purchasing.
