Always be familiar with friends and close contacts work .not only on time of stress ,keep sharing your views about new opputunities and learning enthusiasum with others .you should be willingly to accept learning new things and keep innovating yourself with knowledge and skills sets . try to connect new connections and provide help whenever someone needed. during stress out condition first priority will be same people who can give good reference of you .

Reach Out to Close Contacts: Start with people you know well. Let them know you’re looking and what kind of opportunities you’re interested in. Be honest about your layoff; people are generally understanding and willing to help. Reconnect with Old Colleagues: Think about people from previous jobs, college, or professional associations. Drop them a message on LinkedIn or email. You can say something like, "Hey [Name], it's been a while! I hope you're doing well. I'm currently exploring new opportunities after my recent layoff and would love to catch up and see if you have any advice or leads." Join Professional Groups: Engage in groups related to your industry on LinkedIn or other professional networks.

If you continuously make small updates to your profile in real-time (and this applies to CVs too) instead of waiting a long time or until the last minute when you're ready for a new position, it makes the updating process easy.
