El espacio verde era considerado en la planeación de las ciudades, sin embargo, el crecimiento desmedido de la población ha modificado la tendencia de ir eliminando estos espacios para ocuparlos con otros usos de suelo. Actualmente, hay calles sin banquetas y por ende sin áreas para vegetación y solo hay más concreto y menos áreas permeables. Planning under usual circumstances is viewed as change which means adding innovations can exacerbate discomfort which comes with the concept of change. Keep in mind that change is usually necessary but if it causes obstacles and opposition then the effort is counter productive.
