My team uses a project management tool called Asana. It has been incredibly helpful when tracking projects, deadlines, and keeping comments and feedback in one place. Not only has this improved the way we manage various projects throughout the team, but I have found great ways to track my 1:1 meetings with my manager and list of projects I've worked on throughout the year. My accomplishment list is hands down the most helpful part of my yearly evaluation. Having quantities and written descriptions of all the projects I've been assigned to or collaborated on makes my self-evaluation simple and clear.

Companies are making it easier than ever to join their webinars, learn new skills and test new technologies with the touch of a button! Online learning opportunities are just as valuable as in-person ones. You still have to show up, you are learning along the way, and that should be reflected in your yearly evaluation. Don't forget to log the hours spent on learning!
