I have personally witnessed the adoption of new technology, including Fintech, changing my career from being a manager to a Chief Financial Officer only within 5 years. And there was mainly one reason behind this success i.e. my willingness to take on the challenge of accepting and implementing latest technology to our group companies instead of becoming a barrier to change. Automation and AI has reached to a level that it is almost unavoidable. Those who understand this early, would reap the benefits. We don't need to be afraid, we just need to accept and upskill ourselves to be able to fully utilize technology and advancements in the field of AI.

Sin lugar a dudas la implementación de metodologías ágiles es un requisito clave para responder a las necesidad cada vez más cambiantes de los clientes. Los desarrollos de software necesitan hacerse de manera iterativa a incremental, presentando al cliente opciones que respondan rápidamente a sus requerimientos. Además genera un ambiente de trabajo colaborativo, mejora la comunicación entre las áreas y genera un intercambio de conocimientos y herramientas entre las áreas representantes de los usuarios y las áreas de desarrollo de software que les permiten crecer en un mercado tecnológico cada vez más exigente

Two huge misconceptions I come across when talking about agile are: - With more agility comes more speed: No, you are simply more flexible and able to adjust quicker. Agile methods mostly take the same amount of time as the usual. - Agility is just a method / tool: No, actually it is a mindset and way of thinking. You really need to change the culture here. Also, a tool used wrongly is yields worse results. To be succesful, reduce the complexity of methods and work on the right culture.

Before adopting any technology in the FinTech landscape, it is wise to implement it in pilot basis. That way you can identify potential loopholes and reduce the risk.

By connecting the industrial practitioners and leading the visionary goals to empower Fintech talents through smart collaboration between the government. academia, finance and IT sectors to continue developing the best practises and co-learning from each other. This is what we have been pursuing in the IFTA, I first attempt the accreditation process by self-studying and passed the open examination, then joining the council working with like-minded Fintech professionals to propose a new framework for Fintech talent development program.
