When you define a project with all your energy, your brain analyzes it as if you created it and you lose the passion for it. Just ask about the desired sequence or stage or part that you are making. Not the whole story If someone wants to know the whole story, don't tell him or anyone else.

Just because a process is the default doesnt mean its always the best. Identifying time sinks within a process and adjusting or straight up removing a step can lead to more efficient work. My biggest gripe is wasting time on something that doesn't provide value to the team or to the end product. "Busy work" or admin tasks that can be refined always lead to time gain in the future. Don't put it off and if theres a process you cant wrap your head around lean on your peers to get a wider perspective on ways of correcting it.

Work on the storyboard and story or puzzles until the general shape of the game is fully visible in your mind. My room is full of storyboards and layouts that are related to my current project, and every time I walk in my room, I erase and change them with a pencil.
