I agree with this as it resonates with me. In high school we were taught traditionally one way, lectures, PowerPoint was not invented yet, our PowerPoint was an overhead with a great deal of slides. I started college late in life as I worked on my career first, what I learned by starting late was that I was more focused and dedicated to obtaining my degree. I was able to spend quality time on research, homework and drafting papers. I saw a huge difference in how I was taught years ago and how I retained information now. So the format in which one learns is pivotal in their success. Are the auditory learner, maybe the visual learner or are they the hands on learner. I was a combination of all three depending on the subject I was studying.

I agree with this input immensely. Everyone has different learning styles so expecting for there to be a one-size-fits-all format to work isn't realistic. Plus, life throws so many curveballs that one format may be ideal. In college, I often preferred in-person lectures over webinars for fear of being unable to stay focused, whereas some of my classmates preferred recorded sessions.

I like to do a bit of research on the educator to see not only their educational background in the field but also their practical applications in the field.
