Few pointers to make this session very objective; 1. No personal bias, keep it very specific no hearsay. 2. Don't make judgement or impressions. Feedback is for a situation/ event or a specific time frame, don't generalise. Support with facts, data and critical incidents. 3. Commit to offer support. If required do a follow-up session as well. 4. Make it a 2 way dialogue. Also touch upon positives & strengths. 5. Keep it discreet. Make notes and share. 6. Discuss in neutral surroundings, away from any distractions, not in a work cabin or at a workstation. 7. Post session continue conducive and professional work relationship, as usual.
