In my experience, assessing the error can follow a flowchart: Does the error have a negligible or slight impact on the content or format, or is there a disruption in the content? If there is a disruption, is it limited in scope or does it make the translated text partially or totally unusable? And here we are talking about errors in written documents, which are sometimes not related only to the translation itself but caused by issues in the source text. En nuestra experiencia, es mejor no activarla por defecto, sino utilizarla únicamente cuando necesitamos ayuda. Eso evita muchos errores, así como el uso de calcos idiomáticos, entre otras cosas.
