I have engaged atleast 120+ Interns from our University/B School Partners on our multiple blockchain projects/products. First thing I tell them is turn their fear of unknown in to curiosity. Taking initiative to explore why, what and how of any task given to them is key to success. At least 15+ of them got converted full time not just based on how much they contributed, but also the enthusiasm and openness to learn and stay curious to take up technical/functional tasks.

The first thing I would recommend is to be patient. You are in uncharted waters, so take your time. Learn from those who have gone before you, and don't be in a hurry. It is also crucial to meet new people. You cannot navigate this ship alone, so make friends with other interns, network with staff in your organization, and connect with people in the Blockchain industry. Furthermore, it is essential to learn how to communicate effectively. Master all types of communication and use them for whatever purpose they serve. Lastly, have confidence in yourself.

BE HONEST WITH YOURSELF ABOUT "YOUR WHY." Jim Rohn “If the Why is Powerful, the How is Easy.” If you are in it for the money, be honest with yourself so you will recognise opportunities that alignes with that otherwise you will get frustrated in your journey. If you are in it for the philosophy and/or the technology, internalize that too so you have a fundamental reason to keep driving yourself despite the obstacles you will face. It is worth saying that both paths seem mutually exclusive at the beginning.

Who you work with is more important than what you do or what you get paid. Think about who you can learn from and who can you build strong relationships with.
