I have worked a lot with Oracle ERP and they will release upcoming features and functionality several weeks before they begin to roll out their quarterly updates. I make sure to have a review with the team on the What's New document to ensure that we understand what features are being released and if any of those will help us with any gaps or pain points that we are experiencing. Then I make sure the various team leads for specific areas such as Payables or GL will attend the vendor training sessions covering those features. That way we stay up to date on what is new and what we can uptake

I have found the best way to institute a feedback loop is to ask for it. If management shows an genuine interest in hearing feedback that is the first step. Getting feedback from employees/users starts with including them in requirement gathering to testing cycles, letting them see you document their input, and then having them see their feedback being implemente shows them you are listening. For employees pushing against the implementation, I find that running solutions past them to "poke holes" in them, and believe me they will, and by the end of the implementation, they end up being one of your biggest advocates because they feel they now own part of the overall solution.
