One of the biggest things I have found helpful after prioritizing tasks and setting objectives, is giving myself the time and space to focus. As an SE we are often juggling a lot of different priorities and tasks. When I set my time aside to work on detailed and high priority tasks, I de-clutter my screen. Close out of email and chat, exit out of that browser window with 30 tabs open, and solely focus on that individual task without distraction.
