Como técnico te debes adaptar a la demanda del cliente, pero el cliente tiene esa misma obligación contigo. Hay que adaptarse obvio, pero todo tiene un limite y un precio. Tienes que tener una buena autoestima contigo mismo, esto no es facil, ya que el 99% no la tiene. Trabaja a nivel emocional para ser más fuerte y enfrentarte a desafios. No es suficiente la habilidad tecnica.

bueno yo lo veo un poco al revez, aunque tiene mucha lógica lo que dice, recuerdo cuando empece con el 3d en el a?o1997, recuerdo que para dibujar tenia que prácticamente había que hacer punto a punto los polígonos y trabajar toda la maya así, luego abrís un programa 3d de estos tiempos, y uno modela como manejando arcilla, los programas son cada vez mas fáciles de usar mas intuitivos, y me resulta un poco al contrario de lo que estas diciendo, ya que antes para ponerle los huesos a un personaje podía estar una o dos semanas, y hoy en día lo puedo hacer en dos días u en horas. Imagínate un animador en los a?os 50 o 60, ellos sacaban punta a sus lapices.....si hay que adaptarse, pero las herramientas son cada vez mas faciles!

En tant qu'artiste/technicienne, je pense qu'il ne faut pas avoir peur de ne pas être "adaptable". Vous pouvez apprendre de nouvelles compétences tous les jours, vous tenir à jour sur les logiciels et les différentes techniques. Il faut également respecter la demande et être à l'écoute du client mais cela ne doit pas prendre le dessus sur votre vie personnelle. Restez à l'écoute de vous même, apprenez, n'ayez pas peur de faire des erreurs, on en fait tous. Relevez de nouveaux défis et n'ayez pas peur de l'inconnu.

Desde mi experiencia profesional: lidiar con clientes exigentes es complicado, por eso motivo, hay que fijar limites bien definidos desde el inicio. Hay que dejar claro las condiciones de pago y plazos antes de comenzar.

There are two important aspects: 1. Visual and technical quality of your work, and 2. Efficiency. Over the last few years, 3D models have reached a peak in detail and realism. The industry is now progressing with new lighting, AI upscaling, and generative tools. Efficiency is becoming essential when creating props, so make sure you apply all available tools and create a pipeline for a productive approach. Simple creations will soon be made by AI, and human contributions will focus more on sophisticated and design-oriented productions that require artistic skills.

Know that 3D Modeling isn't a good career choice, especially these days with all the layoffs happening. 3D modeling jobs are in extinction. And AI will eventually replace a lot of human 3D modelers. IMO If it's for personal/hubby then go for it. I don't want to be a downer but it's better to be warned than have to change careers halfway and start at square 1 again.
