I believe this is by far one of the hardest things you will have to face as not only entrepreneur but as an artist as well. It’s hard to accept criticism in the first place, but it’s even harder when it’s someone attacking your life’s work. You have to understand that you can’t take it personally. Everyone is not going to like what you produce and as photographers, our styles are on a spectrum. Just because one person’s style isn’t liked by one set of clients doesn’t mean it’s any less worthy of the price tag. When you receive negative feedback, especially from client, keep in mind they do not have the eye that we have is photographers and sometimes, their criticism needs to taken with a grain of salt.
