While working on a large pharmaceutical expansion, we had a loads and locations sheets with amps and volts in separate columns. This was only a tiny part of the effort, since the equipment was not designed yet and final locations of power connections was undetermined. Find out what the longest stick of conduit is that you need and take half that length for a target circle the vendors have to locate their power within. There are no exact answers in the process until the final design is installed of anything. Standardize also on your amperage for your circuit breakers and panels. Use 800, 400, 200, 100 40, 20,15 amps . This is given to the vendors to start and I can move breakers around where needed.

Technology is fast developing in the world and also, in the design world. One of the best ways of catching up with the latest version, is to attending forums both online and with peer groups, this will keep you informed and updated. Most of the engineering design software come out every year with little alteration or addition of latest tools. For instance, in AutoCAD if I used the latest version for my design and I send it to someone who has an old version the design will not open these are some of the challenges one face when you are not up to date in the design world. In engineering world, research and learning are continuous, and they are the key tools you need to stay at the top of your career. This is my contribution on this topic.

Updating the work flow using the recent technologies is becoming a necessity. However, adding new technologies or new software to cut the time short or minimize time loss in repetitive actions requires deep knowledge of how to those technologies work and interact with the system. Also we need to know how the work flows without technologies work to keep the basics understandable to avoid replacing the knowledge with technologies snd end up being a user not a designer.

En informática, es lo que se conoce como "bichear". Aparte de ejecutar un proyecto piloto estándar (un ejemplo que aparece en la formación, etc) es bueno explorar el programa y familiarizarse con él. Especialmente si se va a implementar a un grupo, será necesaria una formación eficaz, por lo qeu la creación de un "guía-burros" o "espabila-burros" (lo que viene siendo una guía amateur), puede servir de primeros pasos si no se establece una formación reglada; cosa que siempre sería lo ideal; pero que a veces, por favlta de tiempo y/ o presupuesto, no se hace o solo con algunas personas del equipo en cuestión.

En mi experiencia es ideal que todos los colaboradores empiecen con la capacitación de forma paulatina, para que se vaya tomando experiencia y desarrollando aptitudes de acuerdo a los niveles de cada herramienta proporcionada; el plan de capacitación debe ser continuo y supervisado de modo que realmente estas herramientas sean totalmente aprovechadas, tanto por los colaboradores como en el desarrollo eficiente de los proyectos. Los objetivos deben ser claramente se?alados para todo el equipo.

Dinámicas de grupos aplicadas al aprendizaje de un software. Se pueden establecer técnicas como corrección hecha por el compa?ero: cada persona hace un trabajo piloto, y luego el compa?ero "de al lado" lo corrije. también se puede hacer que todos hagan el mismo trabajo piloto, pero tiene una ventaja, que también se puede considerar desventaja: que se copien entre sí. Personalmente optaría por hacer las dos cosas, en este orden: un trabajo piloto que todos se puedan copiar mutuamente (fortalece el team building) y luego un trabajo para cada individuo, que corrija el de al lado.

La capacitación de los colaboradores debe ser ejecutada de forma paulatina y progresiva, en el entendido, de que no se recomienda saturar a los colaboradores con todas las virtudes que las herramientas ofrezcan; conforme le colaborador vaya avanzado en el uso de las herramientas, es cuando se debe considera el siguiente nivel en la capacitación.

Typically the knowledge of what benefits a product brings is the first thing a sales staff understands without any knowledge of how it works. Having a sales force that can truly understand his or her product can be invaluable. Nothing will turn off an engineer/client more than a sales person that can explore the details of the product with you. I got so tired of “I’ll get back with you on that” throughout my career.

Um exemplo que já vi foi parar 4 horas de produ??o para treinar os técnicos e ganhar 4 horas de produ??o no dia seguinte produzindo o dobro do que foi produzido em dias anteriores a inova??o tecnológica. Ou seja agora produzem em 4 horas o que seria em 8 horas com mais eficiência, mais lucros para a empresa, menos esfor?o físico, mais tempo para todos e melhor qualidade de trabalho.

La introducción debe ser poco agresiva. Si se quiere que sea rápida, se debe eliminar todo obstáculo que impida una rápida manipulación del programa. Si estamos con otras tareas interrumpiendo, si primero hay que leer un manual de 100 páginas, si el sistema operativo no es compatible con los ejecutables o visualizables... Lo suyo es poder llegar y usarlo, y luego ya ahondar en los detalles. Por eso, quizás crear una máquina virtual u ordenador con acceso remoto en el que se haya testeado el software previamente y no de fallos, puede favorecer el uso y aprendizaje del software, evitando los contratiempos por problemas técnicos.

La forma en que se puede atenuar la resistencia al cambio, es cuando involucramos a los colaboradores desde el planteamiento de nuevas herramientas ingenieriles, invitándolos a participar activamente con ideas y opiniones, así como en las áreas de oportunidad en los que se vea determinado potencial de desarrollo.

My mistake was to advertise that on some of these DYI amp type building forums on the internet. You people have no idea how much it hurt me to be subject to that level of flaming, and gaslighting from the other members, and the forum admin themselves. I ended up being kicked off of every one of them DYI amp building forums. I still use lamp bias in all my current builds. I don't do internet forums anymore. You have no rights against that kind of harassment on the internet..... ..... . . . . . .. .. ....

Para evaluar el progreso en el empleo de las herramientas de automatización de nuestros procesos ingenieriles, se debe medir el rendimiento en el tiempo de ejecución de un proyecto; identificar la calidad de la información que se esta generando durante el desarrollo del proyecto; identificar de manera oportuna cuales son los puntos donde no se esta cumpliendo con los objetivos, siendo ahí donde se debe reforzar la capacitación y/o evaluar si la herramienta fue correctamente seleccionada.

Efectivamente, es necesario hacer un repaso de todos los pasos anteriores recurrentemente. Al menos una vez programada. Valorar la mejora del cambio, y seguir mejorando!
