When you can uncover the root you will better understand the fruit of the behavior. Patience and keeping an open mind will also help foster a positive environment and working relationship

By aligning with their expectations and demonstrating adaptability, you can turn challenges into growth opportunities. Apply these practices to build a productive working relationship.

I've found that striving to do your job to the best of your ability, asking questions when needed, & make a difference, not causing any futher stress, is the best thing you can do. If your boss doesn't have to worry about you and your job getting done, the less they have to think about. If, on the other hand, the demands of the job are unreasonable, even if it's because of something beyond the control of your Supervisor, like they're short staffed, all yu can do is the same as above. Do your job to the best of your ability, with confidence & knowlege. That's all you can do.

So, you have a new boss and he or she is demanding...now, don't assume that demanding equals unreasonable. And also, are they only demanding compared to their predecessor? First, while you have time, think about their motivation. Why are they coming across this way? Is it perhaps because they still have the fire inside them from their job interview and successful application? Could it be this is their first team lead position and they are drunk on their newfound power? Either way, or if it is another route, it will soon become apparent. It may be they are just insecure and they need a form of validation from their team. Letting them know you are on their side can alleviate this problem.

Communicate your limits professionally and stick to them. Prioritize tasks and be transparent about your workload. Regular check-ins can help manage expectations and prevent burnout. Understand The Meaning Sometimes it’s not just a conversation with the boss to correct damaging behaviors but a conversation to understand what is the meaning of the conversation. During exit interviews that is what I heard the most “I didn’t know that was what “they” wanted?” That conversation took place on both sides, the employee and the boss. I learned it isn’t all about what is said, how is said, but the meaning behind the why. Remember just because you explained your point doesn’t always mean your meaning was understood. Don’t end the relationship on “I meant…or What I meant…”
