People change their minds in seconds, and we are responsible for setting boundaries, especially considering deadlines and budgets. 3. Avoid delivering just the final product. Try to approve as much as you can before creating the final render. 4. Do not use message apps to receive feedback. It is vital to have a document that cannot be edited or deleted. 5. If after you explain why there's no middle ground, make the adjustments and move on to the next job.

Every comment, even the most critical, can be an opportunity for learning and growth. Personal development is essential for receiving feedback constructively. Working on our ability to accept criticism helps us maintain an open attitude, separate our emotions from the work, and focus on professional growth. Advice: Be noble in your learning process. Je pense que la passion vient en travaillant ou en regardant travailler. dans mon métier de dessinateur en supportage tuyauterie, j'ai quasiment tout appris sur place dans l'entreprise d’ingénierie. on m'a fait utiliser microstation v8i que je ne connaissais au départ et légèrement former sur ce logiciel de DAO. cela m'a permis apprendre de nouvelles connaissance et compétences qui m'ont beaucoup aider par la suite. savoir une fois compétence acquise j'ai pu aider voir renseigner beaucoup d'autres collègues de travail qui avait besoin d'info.

If you, like me, usually work as the only professional in your field, I suggest contacting the artists you like. You'd be surprised by how many of them will answer you and will have the patience to share their thoughts about something you're working on. Another strategy is to enroll in a course that has a community section or a Discord channel where you can interact with others who share your interests. You can also join Telegram/Whatsapp groups that match your profession, but be careful. Those groups tend to have tons of intrigue that you don't want to join. Just talk in a neutral tone to avoid being misled by what you say.

I tend to do too many things simultaneously and feel overwhelmed to do anything else, but it's essential to save time to do things that help you relax every single day! I'm not exaggerating! You can do whatever you want, but you should go offline. You can even do something that will help you with your work, like clay sculptures or watercolors, but it has to shift your daily routine. I struggle to focus, so I created a routine, including time to eat, walk the dogs, and clean the house. I also have a huge calendar stuck to the wall in front of my desk, where I paint a box every day. It takes time to explain, so please let me know if you'd like to know how it works.

if you feel that you're stuck on a model or a specific design; put it on hold and go recharge your mental battery. while yes, you may find joy in spending hours behind the monitor extruding away at polygons, but you also need a quick break every once in a while to relax, take a moment to look at things from a different perspective, experience new things and fresh ideas that may or will affect your current work's design, and gives you a chance to reconsider certain design elements from new inspirations.

Here is one of the occasions where I am like "that is not a thing, code is life". However, if you are "No" then don't do what I do.

Try to take on to those leads you get from yourself and apply it in your journey as an artist, learn new stuff that can help with the lack of knowledge in creating better products and update yourself with new innovative ways of integrating unique ideas into final products, which will also save great amount of time and effort.

Lots of good answers here. 2 things I haven't seen mentioned is you have to know your max polygon count and you need to know your max skin size. Kind of basic but important. For fun, I push way, way beyond those limits.
