Everything else is public relations.” This quote by George Orwell keeps me going whenever my journalistic output flops or faces criticism. As a scribe, I have embraced criticism and applause in equal measure while striving hard to remain focused and be always objective and tell the story that should be heard/watched. Also, I learn from criticism or negative feedback and try and improve in my next story.

Write down thoughts and insights to come back to them later. At the end of the meeting decide on the next steps and set some experiment to validate some ideas or to change something that caused your previous fail (according to analytics and feedback).
