When incorporating disruptive technology into quality assurance systems, I recommend proceeding with caution. Thorough pilot testing in a controlled setting is required prior to full-scale implementation. This enables full performance evaluation and detection of potential faults within a manageable scope, reducing the risks associated with relying on untested technologies. A rigorous pilot phase prepares the way for a smooth and informed transition, delivering the best quality assurance results while embracing technology improvements.

Implementing an automated pathogen detection system in our food industry QA process required thorough risk analysis. First of all it is always a good Idea to adopt new technology for quality assurance. The adoption for new technology in QA is directly connected to other systems, it will reduce the time and paper work, also save the various data efficiently. But before implementing the automation the should be Proper URS, validation, pilot run, compatibility with other systems within the organisation, automation should be user friendly without compromising existing procedure, policy and process.

Identify probable problems like system crashes, data breaches, or integration issues. Determine the probability of each single problem and the extent to which it may harm us. Develop strategies for managing uncertainties this may include fallback measures and contingency plans.

A training plan is a good initiative to adopt the new things and it's too supportive to reduce the risk functionality of a system if we did proper training of the system we can drive efficiently of those things which are involved in the system.

Comprehensive training is critical while introducing new technologies. Ensure personnel involved in day-to-day activity using new technologies are well trained and competent. Training program may include Training Modules, Manuals, hand out, Standard Operating Procedures, Do's & Don't. Training programs shall be upgraded as technology changes. Effective Training is very crucial when introducing any change anywhere in the system; and it is must to have a very effective training program for new technology adopted in Quality function. Recently I have implemented automation for complaint data analysis. and I faced lot of challenges while implementing it. but now I am pretty much confident. How to deal such kind of changes. Change is Hard.

It ensures that essential tasks can continue without significant interruption, safeguarding against risks and maintaining productivity. Contingency planning also involves training team members on emergency procedures and regularly reviewing and updating plans to address new challenges or changes in technology.

Change Management is an effective way to adopt or modify any technology or any process in organisations. This process includes location of Change, description of change, justification for the change, and risk mitigation plans before the changes. Also this change management process gone through different people or we can say different set of departments representatives. Some personal who initiated this changes , is gone through the Change review committee personnels having Asset integrity department, HSE department, Project personnel, O&M personnel, Technical Services personnel and their HOD’s. After reviewing the change process they makes Risk Assessment Matrix on the complete system and they work in there control measures and approval.

Our first line of defense is our craftsmen! It’s crucial to get buy in from the professionals that are assembling our facilities! no inspector will have the access and opportunity to verify that assembly’s are put together like the craftsman doing the work! i have a crafts background and have massively benefited from the ability to “ talk the trade” with these men and women! if i was a young inspector i know i could perform well with a bit of knowledge in the field and the opportunity to speak with the craftspeople!
