One of the most important things when picking a tool is, don't start with a tool. Start with your requirements and then find a tool that aligns with them. Often times we get trapped by jargon like "industry-leading", "cutting-edge", and pick something which may be an overkill. Selection should complement the processes and not force us to reinvent them (unless they really require to be reinvented).
