Is some company already have a system and need to customize some feature, from my experience, it may take some time and possible be expensive. The update packages also become a problem once you work with customized features, because the standard updates may not cover them. So a team os developers will be need to apply the updates to them.

This is due to some issues, like user knowledge of the ERP, or compiling and filtering everyones feedback.
