Learning basics of AGILE, Scrum and Planning puts you at ease when you are capacity planning for your team and making the plan execute. This will increase one's confidence on oneself. If possible, talk with AGILE coaches in your organization and course correct if needed and always know, you might need to respond to situations when plans go south, take those opportunities as well do learn as well.
