Here are some tips for practicing, start designing for brands like Spotify, Netflix etc. Spend weeks to create system design of these platforms, once you're sure you hit the dead-end, google the actual design and see how you performed. I enjoy spending 30min daily reading complex architectures and systems. This reading habit provides me new direction to think, introduces me to new tools and technology and help broaden analytical skills. Habits must be created with willingness and consistency. If you enjoy system design in technology, you will find out ways to learn & deep dive. Happy practice!
