It's the same thing with wishing someone a happy birthday, no one will ask for it, but people will always remember!

I don't want to bother client for feedback within 24 hours of interview so I just send a simple follow up note informing about the consultant's experience about the interview. Alternatively, I may request a thank-you note from the consultant and forward it to the client. Clients often take some time to decide, especially if they are interviewing multiple candidates. A gentle follow-up can be appropriate after 3 days. Sometimes, clients provide feedback promptly or indicate when they will make a decision. In cases where a decision timeline is given, it's important to be patient and respectful. Once the timeline has passed, another follow-up can be considered.
