More than an external entity who helps you with part of your goal, a vendor is a business partner. However, often when you outsource, instead of seamless operations, you tend to spend more time in reviews and also perhaps gap finding. One pre-requisite to promote vendor accountability and encourage smoother functioning is setting clear expectations, encouraging open conversations & clarity seeking and working collaboratively. When your communication approach encompasses these essentials, chances are there will be lesser to possibly no errors, with the vendor accomplishing goals and objectives effectively.

Detailed contract and service level agreements with the vendor would help us reduce number of issues however always there are issues between vendor and your company so the only way to resolve this issues is to find out a communication strategy that can help us arrive at a solution and completion of the project
