Estoy de acuerdo con la importancia de contar con sistemas de apoyo en ambas actividades. En el ámbito docente, se puede contar con otros profesores del área en la que trabajamos para encarar las tareas en equipo pues la multiplicidad de miradas ayuda a descubrir errores, aciertos y aspectos que no hemos tenido en cuenta en la primera planificación. También es valioso contar con una red de pares emprendedores con los que se pueda dirimir dudas, discutir proyectos, solicitar consejos, etc. De alguna manera, esta se constituye en una red de contención y apoyo que nos genera confianza. En ambos casos estas redes nos dan la certeza de que no estamos totalmente solos en este viaje de crecimiento y que podemos apoyarnos en ellas.

For example, I have a friend who is an engineer. He learns more and more about his profession every year. In addition, he knows a great deal about many less important companies. He honestly enjoys learning as much as he can. When he is in America, he reads all about English engineers in the newspapers. The result is that he is a very good engineer in his field. His interest gives him a steadily increasing knowledge which strengthens his business. He is not only successful but happy.

This requires a combination of the 7 perspectives. But I would focus on balance and structure. Create structures and systems that will allow you to have a balance between teaching and your other pursuit. Teaching brings a lot of demands. Once you can manage those with an efficient system, start creating a structure and system for your passions to balance out your energy.

Being an effective teacher is all about having a connection with your students in the first place. See them for who they are, take interest in them as a person, make them feel heard and seen.
