One of the first steps to better absorb and understand the problem we want to solve is to recognize that those who will use the solution are just like those who design it—people. Bringing the human factor into the equation is essential to demystify the "user." Beyond employing empathy, we can also draw from anthropology and use the concept of otherness. By seeking to understand that different people have different worldviews and behaviors, we realize that understanding part of this background helps us not to put ourselves in their place, but to understand the place each individual occupies and how this place influences their decisions overall

2 User Personas

User personas are fictional characters that represent the different user types that might use a service, product, or website. I gather info using interviews, surveys, and focus groups to learn about user needs and behaviors than analyze user interactions, feedback, and market research. Segmentation of the users by demographics, psychographics, and behaviors, then build profiles including name, age, job, goals, challenges, behaviors, and preferred channels.

I then randomly show these versions to different user groups and collect data on their interactions. This helps me identify which version performs better based on specific metrics, like click-through rates or conversion rates.
