A buzzing cell phone or multi tasking cannot take place if you’re giving your attention and listening ear. Unless it is an emergency situation, block out and shut down anything that might cause you to lose focus. Conversation is held in order to communicate and share. A different lens when listening might be to consider that you have been chosen and therefore you are deemed a trusted person to receive the information presented. That is an honor that should not be taken lightly.

Dr. Phil said it best when saying “You cannot fix what you don’t acknowledge.” Excuses can’t be the order of the day. Taking a hard look in the mirror and mapping out a plan for yourself are the best ways to make improvement. This can be challenging but it absolutely can be rewarding when completed.
