The industry is ever changing and it's dangerous to get comfortable in any one way of doing things. Be open to change and be open to innovating not only your mindset but your processes. Thankfully, there are countless ways to keep up with the latest trends, news, legislative changes and so forth. Network with industry leaders, sign up for all of the top gaming/gambling news sites, stay on top of the complicated legislative horizon. Never become complacent. If you are adaptable and you strive for excellence, you'll be sure to impress!

Show how engaged you are with the gaming industry. Following and playing trending game genres, keeping up with geek culture and references, can all demonstrate that you are a true gaming enthusiast.
