Be brave to show your personnality, which is your unique ID and the fact of doing so crystally demonstrates an open attitude to the world, which is very important for doing sales. 2. Share some information of the field you've worked before and your understanding of the field, which are not only supporting your story but also a glimpse of your talent in sales transfer with information management.

Choose a framework that draws attention to the points you wish to make clear. More essential, use creativity while crafting your resume to highlight the experiences you have from prior positions as well as the solutions and value you have given to the company.

Do not rattle off all the features of your product, rather engage with the customer to understand what they are looking to get out of the pitch and what they are currently struggling with (why did they take the call in the first place?). In a perfect world your client is talking more than you during the pitch. Practice, practice, practice. Practice your pitch in the mirror, to your pet(s), your family, your friends. Be so comfortable with your talk track that you are reciting it in your dreams.

In a successful sales pitch/call, there is going to be back and forth and a conversational approach. You need to be able to confidently navigate these questions in order to gain the trust from the buyer. Trust is one of the biggest factors in getting a deal to close, and people will refuse to buy from you if you do not know anything about the industry other than how your product fits in the space. Research the industry - Google it, read a book, ask ChatGPT about the most common pain points of said industry. Show your excitement about the job through preparation.

Make sure you understand the industry. If you lack direct experience in that industry, try to connect yourself to it. Review colleagues you know, friends you have, learning resources, and anything else that links you to the industry before the interview. You don't want to be an outsider and expect a warm welcome during the interview.

Watch successful sales pitches in the industry online. Understand the commonalities that these sellers have and the way they approach the call. If you can, try to connect with current sales rep at the company you are applying to. If you are able to get in touch with them and run through a role play, they are going to be able to provide the most valuable feedback and set you up for success. Ask your friends or family to go through it with you. If they are not knowledgeable about the industry at all, then this is your opportunity to speak on your research and what you have learned. Give them a high level overview so they can come up with questions and feedback as they see fit.

Prepare the questions you want to ask the interviewer, and keep in mind that you are there to interview the company, not the other way around!
