I am all for the personal touch. Mass emails providing information and contact information work. Signs at the project location are useful. I will personally contact the adjacent stakeholders, residents and retail companies. Meetings should be arranged and conducted. However, there is also a protocol in place, mandatory and conducted by the city where the project is located. Legal advice is a must in all personal contact with stakeholders to avoid liability.
