Then is important searching on a site as such Indeed or looking on LinkedIn Jobs can quickly give you an overview of a myriad of different roles and requirements. It is essential to first become followers of the pages of the companies in which you want to start working to understand what their values are and what they look for in a candidate.

Being laid off is a wonderful opportunity because it means there is something else meant for you. Maybe it was just time for a new organization to work for because you really enjoy your job in office admin. Or maybe this is an opportunity to explore who you are and see if there are anything else you would like to do. I've had a few careers over my life and I'm grateful now for every single one of those positions. They were all leading me to a next step in life. But the places I worked and the careers I had were not meant for me. They were stepping stones to become the person I'm meant to and lean into the passions I knew were buried deep but for which I had to become ready for. Go deep within. Ask questions. Explore and be open!
