As a budding programmer, Python was the first language I mastered. Leveraging my proficiency in data analysis, I began crafting visually stunning graphs and plots. Driven by curiosity, I also sought to expand my skillset by learning R, particularly for genomic data analysis. Exploring the interplay of bash scripting, R, and Python has been an exhilarating journey. My foray into machine learning in drug discovery began in 2023, and I have since progressed to the realm of deep learning, with a particular focus on computer vision. I have developed several convolutional neural network (CNN) models for object identification, classification, and segmentation, showcasing my growing expertise in these cutting-edge technologies.

My first programming language to learn was C during my second year of my Actuarial studies at university. The name of the unit was "Computer Programming Methodology". I hated programming in C and even ended up failing the unit which I had to resit for as a punishment from my professor. Glad the failure and the resit made me have a solid grasp of Computer Science fundamentals, which I'm now applying while learning other high level languages, i.e JavaScript. Mastering coding is good if you start with learning low-level languages like C/C++. Highly recommended.

Team work is the best option! We can create group or clubs, under it one can implement various projects, where team members can collaborate. Example, one of my student is working as an intern in one IT company and as he is interested in social work also, so he has started one club around 1.5 yr back and running good social technical projects with the help of his friends. What we can do and the moral of point is working in a group will be always happy learning where one can learn so many things under one umbrella.

The notion that computer science is a solitary pursuit is indeed outdated. Collaboration is now central to success in this field. Don’t be afraid to experiment and test different approaches. Document your process and results, as this not only helps in refining your approach but also provides a portfolio of practical applications for future reference.

Team is important and collaboration always helps...find right people and organize and schedule. Incase if it is difficult to find good people, take initiative and start working slowly right minded people will find you
