My two cents on this is, you have to be willing to learn new things, focus and ask questions to get clarity as having understanding on what a product is about, what problem it looks to solve and how the team is working together to meet user needs and business goals in the long run will give an intern the best knowledge on the product, hence paving the way for them to know what contribution they can make to benefit the product

I believe that excelling as a UX intern in a company requires a positive attitude and a willingness to learn. First, it is important to understand the company’s goals and how UX helps achieve them. Take time to learn about the company’s products and users. Asking questions and seeking feedback from your supervisors and colleagues is very helpful. This shows you want to improve and helps you know your strengths and areas for growth. Being open to constructive criticism will also help you learn faster. Joining team meetings and brainstorming sessions allows you to share ideas and learn from others. Working well with your team is essential, so build good relationships with your team members!

From my point of view, being curious. This means asking and researching constantly about the product, consumer, the business, and trends.

In my experience first and foremost thing is to be humble and accepting that you like a blank canvas and is willing to learn even more. A definitive guide would be to start asking a lot of questions be it about the product, Our MVP, What colours they have chosen and why, how they want to position themselves in the market. this would give you a great idea of what you are designing, and for whom you are designing. initially, you will not be required to solve bigger problems. Stick to the smaller ones and take baby steps towards the major issues that company is facing. Focus on your UI skills rather than the UX, and then once you are good with the UI design start focusing on UX and your presentation skills that will help you in the longer run.
