I worked in production environment with original case designs. My background is electrical engineering but learning to make prototype adjustments in house, test them, go to the mechanical engineer that produced all our steel housings... This is where it got interesting - instead of drawing and telling the engineer what we wanted changed, he preferred I come sit for an hour with him to change the CAD designs, so I did - it made me a better mechanical designer as a result. Watching him change the things I asked, he questioned things I hadn't even accounted for, seeing his workflow and thoughts, I learned much from him. I am able to CAD my own designs with Autodesk products now. I'm not as good at it as him, but I can 3d print fairly well now.

Exposing variety of machines and its process will generate good and insightful learn about Manufacturing. Learning about Machines, tools and software for automated run of machine will bring more proficiency of manufacturing. Assembly of different parts and machine of different parts will create variety of new machines for different work culture. Learning will always create much difference between others and self.

It is important to show interest in your process. 1.- Know the machine. (Risk area, LOTO procedure) 2.- Know the process parameters and how they affect the quality of the product, (Temperature, air pressure, gas pressure, etc.) 3.- Know the autonomous maintenance for the machine and understand why this activities belong to AM.

In my past internship experience, being proactive means anticipating needs, taking initiative, and seeking out opportunities to contribute before being asked. Stay ahead by identifying potential improvements, asking questions, and taking ownership of tasks to add value and show your commitment.

Listen to the people who operate the line/ machines day in day, they know them like the back of their hand. If they're telling you something is wrong then believe it don't dismiss it because it's still working. It might be a minor issue now but it could become much bigger if left.

Actually most of our problems come through wrong communication especially with the huge communication tools we have today, clear communication is a magic tool for reaching out distension correctly

Acredito que esse seja o ponto mais difícil, o maior problema das empresas atualmente é a comunica??o, que dificilmente é eficaz. Focar nisso é sem dúvidas extremamente importante e válido, n?o só para o estagiário, mas para todos profissionais durante toda a carreira.

Don't be afraid to be heard. Be loud, make your feelings known. Make sure everyone knows when there is an issue. Even if you have been in a job a short time, if you see an issue, get it sorted quickly
