How do you give a team member objective and respectful constructive feedback? I follow the "E2C2" method that I learned from a Corporate Finance Institute course. The first "E" stands for evidence. Describe the problem objectively. The second "E" is effect. Explain the impact of the problem and why it is important to address. The first "C" stands for change. Describe the change you want the person to make and be specific. The last "C" is commitment. Request that the person commits to making the change.
