Embracing failure is essential for personal growth as well as professional growth , when we accept that in a particular region we are failure then after we find out reason why we are failure this can be done via feedback of students, feedback from colleagues, feedback from management, students score in test / exam using these we can improve our skills drastically.

I believe that for you to have effective teaching practices, it's important to understand student's needs (do they prefer teacher-led practices or student-led practices instead or a mix of both)and you can do that through students' evaluation and feedback. The more you integrate practices that both you and the students enjoy, you will create a very engaging and open environment for learning. Also, keep in mind the different methods of explanation, as each student has a different learning style. it's important to include different styles of explanation when you're trying to get your point across. Whether it's a workshop, a course, or a seminar. Include Kinesthetic, visual, and auditory content.

I made it a point to set aside 2-3 minutes for student feedback at the end of every lesson to assess student learning and get their thoughts on how effective the activities were. Classroom environments are incredibly dynamic and each class has a different personality; what works with one group won't necessarily work with another. In my experience, I once needed to try six different strategies/approaches for one of my classes to feel confident that they understood the concept. It was a process that stretched my teaching capabilities and demonstrated to the students that persistence pays off and failure is not bad. We would say fail stands for "First Attempt At Learning".

Teaching is a take-and-give process. You grab knowledge from a source and release it to another. At the rate that our current surroundings evolve, it is mandatory that teachers get accustomed to this evolution. Majority of the concepts and principles we learnt a decade ago are either not valid anymore or are modified. This means that continuous learning is the key to effective teaching.

Read "Becoming a Critically Reflective Teacher" by Brookfield. It probably doesn't matter which version, it's been around ages, and hasn't really changed. Everyone goes back to Brookfield, there is no reinventing the original. Embrace the different lenses, and go for it.

I guess that if a teacher is less prone to note errors and to make a great fuss about them, can avoid making a great fuss about his/her own errors. Our teaching culture is obsessed with errors, as if they were moral stains that cannot be amended, learned from and left behind. On the contrary, errors are just errors: a tentative step that may lead to harsh criticism or personal growth, according to the teaching environment. In the same way, the supposed "teaching failure" must be seen as such: a tentative step which may lead to sterile self-deprecation or corrective manoeuvres, according to one's inclinations. Do we want to crucify every tentative step with a moral stigma or do we want to be better human beings and better teachers?
