To be empathetic drives communication in the most effective you. To be empathetic does not necessarily mean to accept people view irrespective of the situation. It is rather the ways of getting to know how the other party feels in the course of the interaction. It also helps to to more about the person's view on a case. You therefore have to offer active listening and being observant to be empathetic.
