Gather relevant quotes, facts & data, researches, anecdotes and other stories to tell. Lastly, give mass to this skeleton by plugging in the gathered material into your headings to create a logical flow.

This helped to monitor my speaking skills as I found out at the time-places where I lacked my grammar. Along with this, I also got to know how to monitor my body language. The easiest way to do it is to ask questions that, you know for a fact, most people will resonate with. For instance, if you speak about office productivity you can ask right at the beginning: "how many of you want to sometimes be in two places at once?" or "how many of you think that most things on your TO DO list, don't actually matter, raise your hand please". This way, you make people feel like a part of the talk. However, whenever you do it, it's important that you always feedback to them what's happening e.g. by saying: "keep your hands up and look around, it's roughly 60% of you!"

The first impression is the last impression. In the introductory part be calm and speak with a low pitch and as you start delving into the topic don't forget to mix suspense during the talk. Just before an interesting part, be louder and increase your speed of delivering which will attract your audience and turns the talk interesting.

This is why I highly recommend setting up several daily reminders on your phone, so that eventually, it becomes a positive habit and not something you have to constantly think about.

I would suggest being still at the introduction and then starting to change your posture to attract your audience. Please refrain from maintaining a posture that may reflect that you are not interested or nervous.

As Psalm 93:1 declares, “The Lord reigns, he is robed in majesty; the Lord is robed in majesty and armed with strength.” Just as the Lord’s majesty is evident, your physical presence can also communicate strength and confidence through good posture. A practical tip is to practice your stance in front of a full-length mirror, adjusting your posture until it feels both natural and powerful. This not only enhances how you carry yourself but also improves how you are perceived, ensuring your message is received with the respect it deserves.

I personally use iced coffee before I present to get me in the zone. Think of it as a routine I get into, and it provides me an internal script to go by. Given the topics I present are personal, I generally know where to engage with my audience and downsize any possible anxiety.

I tend to get some amazing input during my last few presentations. I love to take in suggestions as it gives me a third party take on my work. Even I miss out on some details, so it is important.

Now a talk is not just to deliver a speech and then give a vote of thanks and all set. That's not how it works. Make sure to ask for feedback from your listeners. This will give you a reality check about your confidence and you will get to know about your weak points.
