In my experience, change is inevitable and we evolve or go exist. The world was flipped upside down at the start of Covid; 2 virtual weeks was the goal. Circle forward 4 years and the collision between virtual and reality is in full effect. Recently, one a major function at my organization decided to have an in person seminar with participants from around the world. The need for human connection goes without question, however, for those that have resigned to live in the virtual sphere, they were left out of several days of fruitful engagements and collaboration. I point his example out to emphasize the fact that virtual workspaces are here to stay and we must adapt our mentality to maximize their integration for the benefit of all.

In my experience when delivering a course, either virtually or residential, I have found daily feed back via surveys, instructor daily hot-wash and maintaining the relationship between instructor and students to be extremely important to verify information is being shared and understood.
