For all projects, I do my best to create a multi-disciplinary team, with someone from every department, with a voice to speak up when things could be improved. This helps to get the buy-in from all sides, and also helps steers the organization in small steps using Continuous Improvement and Agile methods. But the first question is always on how to create the "pull effect" to get the engagement necessary for success ??..

It will come a time when mere talking and inspirational quotes or the likes will no longer cut it. They are tied and flummoxed. Agility at such times cannot be forced. You have to revamp it by allowing them go for fun trip, beach, sily adventures, spa and massage, etc. Indulge. Agility will return, like a child rising to grab his or her favourite snack.

Imagine an AI Team working on a GenAI model for Chatbot development. As the field evolves rapidly, new techniques and algorithms emerge frequently. By encouraging the team to stay updated with the latest research and advancements in the space, they can continuously integrate new features and improvements into their GenAI model They can also make informed decisions when selecting among competing models for specific use cases. This proactiveness fosters agility because the team can swiftly adapt the model to incorporate cutting-edge capabilities, ensuring it remains competitive and effective in thriving in the AI industry.

What is important to consider while we are trying to promote communication is Neurodiversity. There might be individuals who are introverts or neurodiverse in nature. Providing them an environment that helps them open up and make them comfortable. Designing the environment conducive to this becomes a factor leaders & companies cannot ignore!

Trust is the first step for boosting collaboration. Trust enables a common platform for both or all individuals to listen with an open mind and not judge. Leadership plays a vital role in creating an environment that is non political and conducive for boosting trust.

It involves fostering a flexible environment where team members are open to change and diverse ideas. Building trust is crucial; it can be achieved by promoting transparent communication, encouraging mutual respect, and recognizing individual contributions. This approach ensures that all voices are heard, fostering a sense of ownership and accountability. By valuing adaptability and trust, teams can navigate challenges more effectively, leading to innovative solutions and a stronger, more cohesive strategy development process.

Any aspect is business has a parallel analogy, which makes it easy for newcomers and beginners to grasp. Strategy, in my opinion, is a fluid process that remains fluid. It begins with a questioning and curious mind, because it's curious for curious sake. A strategic mind digs deep, questions POV, and even questions the questions. Yes there is an end to it because strategy means having a concrete outcome. Yet this aim is lingering somewhere at the back of the mind, not on the forefront, taking centre stage while curiosity is coming out for it's main act. Understanding what strategy means as a verb is vitally important. And this will help all other departments not look at strategist's like they've lost their marbles.
