Equality and Inclusivity is a very important aspect of my teaching philosophy. As an immigrant Woman in sciences, I have first-hand experience of how unwelcoming, unfair and unequitable academic environment can be. I am committed to making a difference in making everyone feel included and respected equally. I have over 18 years of college level teaching experience, where I have mentored and guided students during their most impressionable and challenging phases of lives. Coming from a different culture and having to acclimatize to a new culture and environment, I have learnt life skills which I now share with my students so they can succeed academically.
