If you're giving a presentation, the feedback that you're looking for is head nodding leaning forward & perhaps some note taking. As the presenter you also want to find the people that are not getting it, the ones that look confused or worse glazing over. This nonverbal feedback is your opportunity to involve the audience, let them ask the questions & get back into the talk. Remember for every person that asks a question there are many that want to ask the same thing & are reluctant to ask. As a listener, nodding, leaning in & perhaps smiling at the right point of the joke letting the speaker know that you're still engaged. Conversely sometimes, that confused look is good too, a presenter needs to know when they lost the audience.

In non verbal way we can maintain eye contact and by give expressions that you are listening and grasping the information as your speaker says.

This is a seemingly insignificant, but important point. When visiting a site, ensure you are in gear. Even if it is a project site. If you represent a company, when you first step on site you should adhere to company dress codes. This gives an assurance to the customer indirectly, as opposed to popping in your casual flip flops. And if you're going to relax after work and hop on to the bar with the customer, don't wear clothing that represents or advertises your workplace. This works twofold as the customer will also see you as more approachable in a casual environment, and helps you gain unofficial but useful insight into their requirements, past experiences, pains etc. The intricacies behind this are profound, but that's the gist of it.

Respect personal space to avoid making others uncomfortable. Position yourself at an appropriate distance during conversations, typically about an arm's length away. Be mindful of the physical layout in meetings and try to position yourself where you can engage with everyone.

I find most of the time, being worried about causing an issue is the culprit of the issue. A conflict in configuration can happen to the most seasoned engineers. Relax, take it slow, it's not a race to finish even if you're on a deadline. Use whatever tools on hand to test a change. If Mikrotik use Safe mode to quickly rollback. If configuring switches remotely and changing config on trunk ports, use the delayed restart commands. Imagine the job before you start, and prepare yourself mentally. In networking there is always room for error, human or otherwise. Be confident, if you're unsure of your skills, call a colleague who is knowledgeable and ask them to be your backup at so and so time. Boost your own confidence. Basically, just chill.

Pay attention to the timing of your responses in conversations, avoiding interruptions. Allow natural pauses for others to contribute to the discussion. Synchronize your body language and expressions with the rhythm of the conversation to show alignment and understanding.
