If you focus on the objective, assemble team, and get out of meeting "deadlines", DEADLINES due to outside influences. Planning is everything. But if you are told we need a completion date, it is a stressor that contributes to mistakes, things not planned on, and ruins the final outcome... Success, Project complete with issues. In my career life, the 7P's applied. But, as time went on, I realized that the dip shits don't realize this. My TFS, SW, PTSD, OCD, etc. took over. Tell them to do it, take the stress off of yourself, and watch them fail... Our Forefathers did not have deadlines... They developed electricity, tv, microwaves, ovens, dishwashers, dryers, light bulbs, automobiles, air conditioning, tampons and condoms. etc. LOL.

Potential impediments to reach milestones such as critical RMs ,test facility availability, customer priority feedback , environment, design and process risk plan and contingency plan should be considered and sufficient buffer should be kept while while planning .Pushing the boundaries in every case such as CFT review towards meeting and on time escalation supports the targeted deadlines .

What i do is to take notes everytime i think i Will need at least 10 min to complète the action. And at the end of the day i prioritze all action for the day after. It works well for me
