To achieve success in managing cross-functional teams and computing demands, a program manager must deeply understand and align the goals and priorities of each team during the planning phase and before final commitments. Even after achieving alignment and commitment, the program manager must anticipate unforeseen situations and remain flexible to address issues that arise during program execution. During the development of a roadmap or program lifecycle, the program manager should proactively identify each involved team, delve into their workload, goals, and priorities, and engage team leadership when necessary. It is crucial for the program manager to show genuine interest in each team's challenges and meet with critical team members.
