Here's how you can effectively handle vague or unclear feedback.

When feedback is unclear, don’t guess. Seek clarity and ensure you understand the specifics. Clear communication is gold for improvement.

Ask for specific examples. To better improve and strategise for improvement plans, specificity is important. Every time you receive a feedback, as for at least a few examples of how the said feedback has happened, and also ask for opinions and recommendations on how it could be done better. This helps in not just getting clear on the feedback, but also getting clear on waht needs to be done to improve and change.

Seek specific examples. Politely ask for specific examples or situations that illustrate the feedback. E.g. "Could you provide a specific instance where you felt my performance could have been better?" This will help you understand the context and the exact areas that need improvement.

Honestly, reflecting on feedback is hard. I often notice leaders either accept it completely (with a lot of guilt or shame) or reject it outright. This polar response may not be useful, and the opportunity to learn from someone's perspective is lost. I always encourage my clients to seek the 2% truth in the feedback. When we peel back the context, the personalities, the complexity - what is that deep truth? Reflect on that. Its gold. Having someone hold a safe space for you, as you reflect, can be a game-changer in feeling safe exploring your growth edges.

Der zweite Aspekt der beim Reflektieren wichtig ist, tats?chlich kurz durchzuatmen und auf eine Metaebene zu gehen. Von dort kann man sehr gut sein eigenes Handeln z.B. in Zusammenarbeit mit einem Coach betrachten und pers?nlich das eigene Verhalten einsch?tzen, selbst eine Handlungsm?glichkeit erkennen.

A reason why we don’t act on the feedback we agree with is overwhelm. We want to change but feel the task at hand is too big. What if you would change your approach and accept the challenge? Tackle it with curiosity and an open mind. How can you make that change happen while enjoying the process? One way is not to do it alone. Find someone who will support you in your endeavor, celebrate the small wins and milestones with you, and cheer you on when you hit a plateau. Everything is easier than you share it.

Asì tu cliente puede tener tranquilidad en tu gestiòn, sabrà que tienes claridad del entorno, dominio del tema y organizaciòn para lograr cumplimiento de los tiempos establecidos. Ademas, contaràs con sus aportes màs objetivos y, asì, daràs resultados màs acordes con las expectativas.

Eine ehrliche Selbstreflexion oder der Umgang mit Triggern im Austausch mit Kollegen kann h?ufig nicht einfach sein. In dem Fall empfehle ich gerne ein Mentoring oder Supervision z.B. mit einem externen Coach oder einer anderen Vertrauensperson auf Augenh?he. Pers?nlich denke ich aber, dass die Person nicht unmittelbar aus dem Freundeskreis, Arbeitsumfeld kommen sollte, um auch hier gr??tm?gliche Unbefangenheit zu erreich.

Viele kennen aus der Projektarbeit das iterative, agile Vorgehensmodell. Ein Grundprinzip ist dabei immer das regelm??ige Review und die Retrospective, mit dem Ziel stetig zu lernen und die Zusammenarbeit im Team zu verbessern. Genau das gleiche Prinzip sollte man als Führungskraft auch für sich selbst und die selbst gesetzten Ziele, Verhaltens?nderungen anwenden. D.h. sobald ich mir etwas vornehmen, z.B. eine bestimmte Grundhaltung, ein Verhalten zu ?ndern, sollte ich regelm??ig mir hier Feedback einholen, eine pers?nliche Retrospektive durchführen, um zu sehen ob sich der gewünschte Erfolg, das gewünschte Verhalten einstellt. Somit habe ich immer die M?glichkeit ggf. zu adjustieren, mich neu auszurichten.
