Certainly, you have spent a lot of money and time carefully putting all of this stuff together that is necessary for your job.. Are your clients high quality… is your work high quality ? Stay humble,classy , and confident (not to be confused with cocky) , clients recognize quality when they see it and they will know you are worth it.

Your rate depends on your credits, how much you have evolved as an artist, and your demand. If you are consistently booked in advance and your calendar is filled with work, you can raise your rate. If you are new and not booked up, the best way to network is to make your services available at an affordable rate that production companies and future clients are comfortable hiring you at until you build your demand. With every job you do, your resume expands, and employers start trusting you more. Build a portfolio of your work that you can present to employers to validate your skills. Working as a freelance artist is tough in the beginning, but once you build a solid reputation, client list and connect with production crews, it’s worth it.
