Language is not the primal form of logic, not are symbols. Only observation, assessment, estimation & judgement represent logic; resulting in data or ideas making sense. The challenge is there is no other way to communicate observation, assessment, estimation & judgement but through language & symbols. Hence, the first step of communicating your ideas is to clearly establish your observations, assessment, estimation and judgement about the data or ideas. And this is in one's own head - and hence easier to formulate. Thereafter, if one were to combine language and symbols - using flows, hierarchies, branches, connections, iterations, paths, crossovers, exceptions, formulas, principles, natural laws etc...we can quickly communicate logic.

Start with and a point of agreement. Then build on that concept. The logic and structure is "if this then that". If this is the situation, then the next step is... If you agree with this premise then we can move on to ... If this is your experience then the way to solve the problem is...
