Now, with inflation up, the cost controls can make a tremendous difference, because with effectively implemented controls, the pressure to raise prices will be off. In schools, there is too much focus on formulas, in real life Cost Control is very Political. "Cut overhead" means firing people, budget cuts can create conflicts. The better accountant know the business the better, but it is not enough. The participation of production managers are the must. Therefore, I find best way to control the cost is by creation motivational mechanism that appealing to managers. Motivate them and cost control will become an ongoing task, not a campaign.

Como responsable de administración y contabilidad, se debe llevar una gestión de riesgos lo más seria posible. Y no nos referimos a los típicos riesgos de impagos por parte de clientes, los cuales deberemos crear las correspondientes provisiones contables. Hay que tener una evaluación de riesgos laborales lo más completa por puesto y departamento, donde se recogen derechos y obligaciones del trabajador, así como la obligación de la empresa de entregar los epis correspondientes, para evitar o minimizar accidentes laborales. Y a nivel macroeconómico vivimos en un mundo globalizado, que cada día tenemos buenas y malas noticias que juegan con las principales bolsas mundiales, y ésto, también nos repercute en los costos de materias primas.

I, personally, fed up with switching and adapting to new video-communications platforms. Started with Skype, then Zoom, then Teams, then Google Meet...all without much if any adding values. Still same screen, same faces, microphone and "can't hear you" complains, same shared screen and recording features....Why? Why?

En mis muchos a?os de experiencia al frente de la empresa, pese a mi relativa juventud con 41 a?os, de los cuales 17 a?os estoy batallando con proveedores y clientes, en diferentes sectores del mercado, he probado muchos software de gestión, y en mi opinión el software que utilicemos nos debe ayudar más que complicarnos la vida. En este sentido una buena herramienta que integre, contabilidad, compras, ventas, amortización, previsión de tesorería y muy importante... Un inventario real y valorado correctamente según la norma que se utilice, es esencial. Todo ésto unido, y bien mecanizado los datos, aunque para ello haga falta mano de obra experta y no recaiga en una persona, habiendo un buen equipo, podremos conseguir cualquier información.

En las mayorías de Empresas en las que he trabajado, he tenido que encargarme yo solo de la administración y contabilidad de la Empresa, debido a mi gran capacidad de sacar el trabajo adelante nunca he tenido problema con plazos para presentar cierres mensuales, trimestrales, anuales, junto con sus respectivas previsiones de tesorería, control de costos por departamentos, etc, se pueden hacer muchas cosas. No obstante en empresas cuyo volumen de negocio es mayor, considero que es necesario crear un buen equipo administrativo contable para poder desempe?ar todas las funciones con éxito, así como crear iniciativas contables complementarias para obtener más y mejor información. La información es poder, y si esta no está bien gestionada...

What I will add is that, Taking responsibility for a task in an organisation helps. I remember one responsibility I took on some months back in my current organisation, with two other colleagues of mine, we submitted an EOI which was to end within 4 days. We worked so hard, both at night and day just to meet up and thankfully it was submitted. My boss never thought it would be possible but we did it.
