The beginning of any project is to assess your needs and develop a plan around those needs. I am kind of saying that if you don’t have a plan, how do you know you aren’t already where you want to be? Similarly, if you don’t assess your needs and do it properly, you can’t solve the problem because you don’t know what it is. It’s difficult to get a customer to pay for a needs assessment as many believe they already know what they need if you believe you already know what you need then why hire outside resources?

Contrary to what the AI wants you to believe in the proceeding paragraph you’re not likely to learn how to do creative problem-solving, my reading a bunch of books or watching YouTube. It’s not like you’re changing a leaky seal on a sink. I really believe that unless you’re proficient in leading a creative problem-solving session you should bring in an outside resource. I guess Said really up to you though I mean you get what you pay for and if you pay for a couple of books… well, I guess I would just say good luck.

I swear the AI is programmed to insert some version of this paragraph into everything it writes. There’s nothing wrong with setting goals. In fact it’s important to put this as the third thing you need to do is misguided to say the least. I would recommend setting goals as soon as you understand the problem. In the broad sense, your goal is to solve the problem, but you really should be looking at setting objectives that build to that goal.

Just…no. Yes you should reflect on the things that you’ve learned. But this word salad has nothing to do with creative problem-solving. So reflect, but reflecting the things that are most important in your life. Don’t reflect on the change you received at the Dairy Queen the last time you stopped for a quick snack, but reflect the things that are meaningful in your life. Reflect on your values and how. The things you’ve done the projects you’ve selected align with those values.
